  • Three times the slot area: Made of corrosion-resistant anodized aluminum, the new head offers a horizontal opening with three times the cross-sectional, or slot, area of a standard single-point SteamHead.
  • Lower velocity, less noise: Introducing steam along this broad, flat opening facilitates a gentle, even distribution throughout the room.
  • Partially “pre-distributed” steam: An interior array of alternating and intersecting vanes located within the wall-muffling noise cavity allow the incoming steam to expand, slow down and change direction. The resulting rich, fluffy cloud of steam envelops the space, suspends essential oil fragrances, fills the lungs and warmly embraces the skin.
  • Eliminates the pooling of condensate: The interior vanes and the bottom of the head are specially sloped to route the condensate flow to avoid pooling and excess noise.
  • Other key features enhance the Linear Steamhead’s durability and facilitate its installation:
  • One-piece, aluminum extrusion process: Unlike conventional steam heads, typically forged from machined, electroplated brass, the Linear SteamHead’s one-piece aluminum extrusion construction means minimal seams, connections or moving parts.
  • Employs a single die: Allowing for steam heads in a range of sizes for different-sized generators.
  • Slotted end cap screw holes: For ease of installation, MrSteam equipped the Linear SteamHead with slotted, rather than rounded, end cap screw holes. These elongated slots let the installer adjust the final position either toward or away from the wall before a last tightening of the screws.
